Nothing beats

a slip n' slide in the summer...but isn't summer supposed to start in June?? This past weekend summer decided to come early to Indiana. We had temps in the 90's. Being the CA girl I am you would think no biggie....its the humidity that is the worse!! Oh how I dislike the humidity and the lovely frizz factor it does my hair.
Jarod and Riley had soooo much fun playing on the slip n slide Monday. I was not a very good mom and didn't get enough sunscreen on my lil' peanut and he now has a sunburn on his back. He is not a happy camper when it comes to sleeping. He is waking up a few times in the night. I gave him some tylenol before bed tonight so hopefully that will help. I have a feeling I am should buy a few slip n' slides....the new one already tore a bit where the hose goes in on the side. It works ...just doesn't spray as high as it could. Heck for 8 bucks it was worth it! The boys had soooo much fun with it.
Jarod finished up 1st grade. I am anxiously waiting his report card! I am pretty sure its all A's...way to go Jarod! He started summer camp at the YMCA this week. I debated about sending him to my friend that moved that does daycare but the 14mile commute opposite of the way I go was a huge deciding factor! With gas at almost 3 bucks a gallon and the wear and tear on my car going to the Y in town was the winner. Besides...they have some great activies for the kids!! Swimming at least 2x a week and a field trip each Wed. I wanted to go!
I have been doing really good about watching what I eat and am walking along with drinking lots of water. I found sparkpeople.com what a great website that is!!! better that Weight Watchers and best of all its FREE!!! Check it out!!
