Ahhhh Saturday....

Decided to take the boys .....all of them both the 2 legged(Jarod & Riley) and the four legged variety(Snoopy & Max) to Pet Smart to get more bio spots for the dogs. It is a beautiful day today sun is shining bright it's pretty warm out but there's a really nice breeze so it actually is pleasant out. Wandering around the store with all of them was quite a feat but I think we fared pretty darn well. No meltdows from Riley. Jarod and Snoopy behaved beautifully. This was our first trip to Pet Smart with Max so I wasn't sure how he would do. He did pretty well...Had his bouts of being a terrier though. One larger dog came over and started sniffing him...got pretty darn close like right in Max's eye and Max wanted nothing the do with it! He snapped....not that I blammed him and the other dogs owner wasn't bothered by it, Typical lil' dog he said...hee hee ;)

After Pet Smart we stopped by Mickey D's for lunch. The boys were happy to get Luigi from the movie Cars in there bags. We left the dogs in the shade in the car...don't worry the windows were down and they had a nice glass of water when we got back. On the way home we stopped at the park for everyone to play a bit. I tried taking some pictures but with 2 dogs on my arm wasn't too successful....besides my batteries died on top of it! After a bit we loaded up and headed for home. Because of playing at the park everyone was hot so I stopped at Dairy Queen and got us an ice cream. Jarod usually gets a strawberry sundae and Riley too (cups are better for him not as messy). I decided to just go thru the drive thru because the dogs I was sure were ready to get home out of the heat. We get home without a hitch....I guess the ice cream was good! As we are getting ready to turn onto our street off the highway I take a peek in the back to check on Riley ...he had been really quiet! When I saw him I started busting up laughing!!! He was really enjoying his ice cream and even saving some for later!!! I naturally had to run into the house and get new batteries in the camera so that I could take some pics. He wasn't thrilled with the idea of me taking his picture. He was hot and tired....but still really cute! Jarod was cracking up too!
